1999 Rookie Race
After a great season of club races the old salts
of the club decided that they would impart some of their sage wisdom on the new guys in
the club.
It was decided that we would have a race and only the rookies of the club would
participate in it. But we would have one of the club elders on board showing us how to make our
boats faster and us rookies more race savvy.
Well the results varied by boat but a great time was had by all participants.
Congratulations to Ray and Marcie for their win over the rest of us. And thanks to
all the experienced club members that have help us enjoy the past years sailing season so
much.
