1999 PSC 1st Annual Charity Regatta
The members
of the Paupack Sailing Club cosponsored a race along with the Scranton Rotary
Club in October of this year. Each boat that participated got a corporate
sponsor and the proceeds from the race went to the World Wide Fight Against
Polio.
The turnout for the race was better than expected with 13 boats participating
in the event.
Congratulations to Doug DuGuay for organizing the race and to Art Werner and his
Lauguna for winning the event.
