Great job to all those that helped in transforming the African Queen into clearly the best decorated boat in this years Lighted Boat Parade. The African Queen was decked out in her best patriotic colors starting with the hundreds of red, white and blue lights. Lou Synder made a great Lady Liberty shining her torch brightly off the bow. Gary Bixler was busy fending off attackers with numerous cannon shots. But hands down the show stopper was our commodore hoisted up to the spreaders dressed as Uncle Sam waiving his flag and tipping his hat to the crowd.
